If you want to get up snow dift hills then maybe you should look at a Big Bird and in this case with 20 inch rubber tracks. There isn’t many machines in the world that can handle snow in this way and in fact even the Big Bird struggles a bit near the top of this incline, it was a good job it had those 20 inch rubber tracks on.
Even with UK winters, there would probably only be a need for these machines in Scotalnd, but you never know.
There is no doubt that these little machines can’t half move and in this case get that snow out of the way. The rubber tracks give superb movement ability over the snow and and grip on the slipply roads maving this an ideal snow moving machine. They are of course very fast and not like your typical rubber tracked machine moving at 2 mph.
We know every winter the UK will get caought out with snowfall, where every other country in Europe will handle it better. Maybe we should get some more of these quick Cat machines or similar with rubber tracks to keep the UK moving in winter.
I suppose we are used to seeing forklifts with the traditional 3 wheel configeration to get in and out of confinded spaces at speed across hard sufaces. But there ar times when a hard surface is not available outside and you are about to lift very heavy weights.
